Since its creation in 2004 by Frédéric Corvez, Urban Sales has always been driven by the same goal: bring quality cinema to the largest audience possible on every continent.

Frédéric Corvez started his career at Equinoxe (Sony Pictures Intl and Canal +) where he was in charge of the international development. A member of the reading group at Studio Canal, he contributed to the creation of Kanpaï Distribution. Then, he joined successively MK2 and Celluloid Dreams where he directed and developed the TV department. He taught Economy of Cinema at La Sorbonne Nouvelle and is an Expert for the European Commission.
In 2004, he founded URBAN DISTRIBUTION INTL, a World Sales Company.
In 2009, Frédéric Corvez founded URBAN FACTORY, an independent company dedicated to domestic production and international coproductions.
In 2011, Frédéric Corvez has also extended its activities to theatrical distribution in France with a new company: URBAN DISTRIBUTION.
He is a member of Unifrance Board and executive committee, Treasorer of l’Adef – The Union of French World Sales – and Vice President of Europa International.
Originally from Brazil where she built an early career in theatre as a director and producer, Florencia Gil has followed the UCLA producers programme, then the one-year course Atelier Ludwigsburg-Paris, European production and distribution education and network programme run by French and German film schools La Fémis and the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg.
Based in Paris since 2011, Florencia has worked in acquisitions and marketing at Rezo Films and Independent Film Company, then as head of sales at Loco Films, and at Indie Sales. She has joined URBAN DISTRIBUTION INTERNATIONAL in 2022.
After completing a Master’s degree in Production in the UK, Irene joined Memento Film International as Festivals Assistant. She then became Acquisitions Assistant at Elle Driver. In 2019, she worked for the French Institute in Paris in Acquisitions and Servicing and extended her experience as Festivals Consultant for film sales companies in the UK.
Irene joined UDI in December 2019.
